Public Space, Streets and Drains Archivado604 Ferry St New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Chatham Square
(I tried posting a comment on the other complaint about this issue, but my comment was blocked.)
The area around G Mart, especially around the corner on Peck, has always been known for drugs and prostitution, but it's getting worse. I drive by this corner every day around 7:20 a.m. to bring my son to school, and every morning we see open drug transactions, prostitution, and junkies stumbling around. It's a disgusting, depressing sight first thing in the morning, and yet I've never seen any police presence here. What gives?

Trash & Recycling Archivado260 Middletown Ave New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Cedar HillThis place is a mess, and not because it's a dump! Lines of cars and trucks that you have no idea if you're supposed to wait in, and then no way to exit if you figure out that you're not supposed to be in that one, nothing to mark what type of waste goes where (oh, except the sign that says "yard waste" where you're not supposed to put yard waste), and then the employees yell at you if you inevitably mess up BECAUSE THEY DON'T MAKE IT CLEAR!
The Transfer Station needs to make it easier for those of us who don't visit every day. PLEASE POST SIGNS. -

40 Downing St. New Haven Connecticut - Chatham Square
This issue was closed by LCI and archived, so I'm starting it as a new issue... However, it's not new! The former residents of 40 Downing covered the street and sidewalk surrounding that address with graffiti, including a graffiti mural. The mural was partially covered over (not by the city), but it's once again visible and still needs to be dealt with in a permanent fashion. Thanks!
(FYI, the attached image is from 3/30/17, taken just after a masked guy on a dirt bike pulled up to take selfies by the mural -- in other words, this mural is still attracting folks who aren't exactly contributing positively to the neighborhood.)

-
Potholes on Peck Street Archivado222-242 Peck Street New Haven, Connecticut - Chatham SquareMultiple deep potholes on Peck Street between Ferry and Rowe -- it's impossible to navigate this street without hitting at least a few of them.
-
Potholes Archivado492 Blatchley Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Fair HavenSouthbound side of Blatchley Avenue just before and at Peck Street has multiple potholes that need patching. There have been crashes at this intersection in the past -- drivers should be focusing on traffic, not on avoiding potholes.
