Two doors dumped on the sidewalk, south side of Skyline Dr. by Hanns Park.

They've been here for a couple of days, sad that no one else could file a report. Does the word "community" still mean anything?

  • Blue Rock Springs Corridor Park Oakwood Ave, Vallejo, CA, 94591, USA - Vallejo

There is a homeless encampment in the Blue Rock Springs Corridor, indicated by the red "X" on the map provided. This is behind Wardlaw Park and Wardlaw Elementry school and across the pedestrian bridge to the park paved trail, then up the hill and/or in the fields tucked inside the foliage of the larger Oak trees. Note this issue has been discussed with GVRD personnel who indicate that this is COV controlled property.

They are also storing various objects under another cluster of trees labeled JUNK in the photo.

Finally there is a fair amount of flammable material on this hillside (dry grass and vegetation). Due to the recent fires in Hanns Park I am sure that the folks who live on Hillview Drive would be extremely appreciative if you could expedite this request.

  • 1001 Admiral Callaghan Ln Vallejo, CA, 94591, USA - Vallejo

This site was a homeless infestation. Yesterday evening there was a structure fire at this location, at least three alarms requiring mutual aid to contain.

We need some thought leadership and innovation right about now to stem the destruction and risk to human lives and property. How about something like maintaining a list of vacant commercial buildings and performing periodic safety inspections.

  • Hanns Ln Vallejo, CA, 94590, USA - Vallejo
This is the second major fire in Hanns Park in 3 weeks, with this fire causing much more serious consequences. The homeless issue is out of hand in this Park. What does the city plan to do about it, before more property is damaged or somebody is seriously hurt or killed.
