**Update on the dumping issue with LBB (Update from yesterday)**. After much fuss with the cooks, and a police visit this AM. Some guy with a hose sneaked by today for about 10 minutes and hosed and washed the evidence to Highland St. Didn't work very well since that's not how grease/oil spills are cleaned. The alley street is still covered in oil/grease, the soil surrounding the alley is completely blackened and filled with oil, and now Highland has a giant puddle of old grease/oil with no where to go. See pics. The "pressure washing person" they hired displayed no proper OSHA training for this type of pollution cleanup and pretty much made the spill worse by not using proper cleaning materials or chemicals and spreading it to other streets. Please have someone with inspection authority come by ASAP and stop this wackiness. It's really gross, and now people can't walk down the sidewalk on Highland for a few days.

Left Bank Bistro has been dumping used grease down the alley at night. The attached photo is just a small sample of it. The oil stain goes 200ft and is over 8 feet wide. We think they have run out of room to store grease and oil, so they are pushing the tank over and then trying to hid it by washing it away with a bit of water. So we know they understand this is wrong, but are still doing it. This is the 4th time this year they have done this. We have many photos showing this over the last 2 years. Our residential area is being polluted by this behavior. Please have an inspector check them on this, and issue fines accordingly (that is the only way they will stop). The head chef is named Chef J, he should know all about what is happening since it is his team that is doing it.

The left bank bistro's back area, south east (where the hot water heaters, and cook stairs are, behind the dumpster) have been evacuating hundred's of gallon's of water in the night time from either piping under the bar, or from the quarter inch PVC that is fixed to the side of the building. We think it's the left over hot water for cooking, and they are doing it at night/early morning because nobody can see? Well, everyone in the area is very concerned, included the other restaurant owners and retail folks, and residential folks. It fills the alley with (grey) water all night, and is starting to do damage to both of the fences across the alley. In addition, several retail owners have asked them to address the issue. Nothing has been done, nore has it been corrected. Just this morning, there is evidence of water flooding and water soaking the alleys. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed immediately. Can someone with leverage (inspector, city agent) inform the Byramm owners (not the cook, or busboys) that this is a clean neighborhood and we don't like excess water from a bar being dumped into our alleys, backyards, and walkways? Please and thank you.
