I head that New Haven police are removing bicycle wheels from bikes locked to street signs or parking meters. Is this the case and if so why and if so why has this policy not been publicized?

On Sunday March 29 my wife tripped on the very uneven sidewalk at 859 Whalley in front of Xclusive Trends and injured her wrist and knee. How serious remains to be seen. The helful owner informed her that another person had earlier that day fallen at the same place. Our Alder has been asking for repair of the sidewalks along Whalley in Westville. What is the city waiting for?

The Exxon gas station in Westville village has shoveled some of its sidewalk. But it hasn't touched the walk between its eastern drive way and Jewel St., which is an icy hazard. Shouldn't Exxon be fined?

The sidewalk in front of Midas muffler is an icy hazard. The company is closed, but surely someone owns the property. The city should levy a fine on the owner.

Emerson Street between Fountain and Whalley Avenue has cracked sidewalks and drainage ponding problems. Please inspect. Students from school and Chapel Haven use sidewalks frequently.

Pedestrians crossing Blake Street on Whalley Avenue are taking their lives into their hands. Because of the angle Blake takes from Whalley the walking distance is great and cars traveling northwest on Whalley turn into Blake at high speed. Drivers rarely cede right of way to pedestrians. People I know won't cross Blake there at all preferring to detour. This intersection is ripe for traffic calming.

The Whalley Avenue sidewalk in front of Bnai Jacob cemetery is impassable forcing pedestrians to walk dangerously in the street.. The rest of Westville cemetery's Whalley sidewalk has been plowed, thank you!

The corners of Whalley and jewel and Whalley and Fitch are impassable as is the sidewalk in front of 781 Whalley (formerly Community Action Agency) forcing pedestrians into very highly trafficked Whalley Ave.

the sidewalk from Whalley to Tower Parkway by Power Gas is impassable. One has to walk in the very busy street. Who is responsible to clean this sidewalk?

The Mayor's two messages via robocall today were quite clear. Cars parked on the odd side of the street for streets between the Quinnipiac River and the Boulevard have to move for cleaning. On the far sides of those two landmarks cleaning would take place during the day. Why then did police drive by this evening with bullhorns telling residents on Osborn, Young, Whittlesey and Blake that cars left on the odd side of the street would be towed? Should we be panicked into digging out and moving cars tonight? Did the Mayor not tell his subordinates the message he told other residents? Do city officials not know the city's geography?

No plow has visited Young or Whittlesey Streets. 1:50 pm Monday.

The sign indicating that traffic is two way up ahead is facing Osborn Ave. traffic coming from the SW rather than Blake St. traffic coming from the one-way road SE. It is held to a utility pole by tape.

Branches from an oak tree growing from between the sidewalk and street are leaning on and interfering with electric and utility lines going to 52-54 Emerson St. and the two houses on either side. Resident reports flickering lights during wind. Also the tree's roots have severely broken the concrete sidewalk.

After each moderate or better rain the corner of Blake and Osborn is filled with water. The storm sewer fails to drain. This has continued for months.

The phone, cable and electric lines between the street and the house address 25 Pelham are perilously close to the ground. The lines come off a pole on the opposite side of the street. They pass over a slight hill where someone can easily reach them.
