I am the community manager for this HOA, and am reporting a midge fly infestation on behalf of this owner and those in the general vicinity. As always, thank you for your prompt attention to treating the recharge facility.

At the NW Corner of Bridges Parkway and Ponderosa - gallons of soap suds were poured into the water feature. This has happened a few times over the past few weeks. While some might shake their heads and say, "darn kids and their mischief!" at this point the potential damage is becoming a huge concern. Pumps need water to operate correctly. In a shallow pond like at this water feature, the pumps and motors cannot function with soap suds. We were able to get it shut down before the motor siezed this time and will have to treat it, drain it, etc. which will take a week. We are hoping there is no permanent damage, but will advise if there is. We would appreciate some police presence over the weekend and the holiday week in the community at night when you can spare the patrol officers. Thank you.

Hello - recently a bulb was replaced on Pole #G1281773. It was replaced with a bright white bulb - probably LED. All of the other poles in the area are still warm white, e.g. Pole #G1281772 . See photo. The residents in this vicinity feel that this was done in error and feel it looks very awkward aesthetically. Is this something that can be resolved?

Our recycle container was damaged recently during pick-up. It has a large crack. The driver suggested that we request a replacement.

Hello - there is a significant high spot/raised section of pedestrian sidewalk in front of this home that needs attention. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello - the cottonwood trees that buffer the South Recharge site from E. Appleby between Girard and Moccassin are doing their season leaf dropping which is filling the HOA's shrubs and blowing onto the yards of the owners who live near there. Is there a way to have them trimmed up a bit and the leaves blown out. Thanks as always for your kind attention to the Bridges at Gilbert residents.

Street Light outage reported to me by resident.

I am unable to manipulate the map to point to the main median in the Bridges at Gilbert Community which runs from the Higley Entrance - South of Queen Creek. Here is a list of several street lights that are not working (either they are out altogether or they flicker on and off). The median runs along E Bridges Blvd/Soboba from Higley to Ocotillo.

Beginning at Higley and going up Bridges Blvd and then onto Saboba St to Ocotillo many lights are out. I’m listing below cross streets in sequence with lights that are out.

Poles - GI280364 and GI280362 at Soboba and Ficus

Poles - GI280355 and GI280354 at Soboba and Narrowleaf

It seems odd that so many are out - perhaps its a timer or power issue?

Standing water and mosquito breeding in Sonoqui wash - west of Soboba. Please disregard prior report stating east of Soboba . This needs to be sprayed, pumped out and the area re-graded for proper flow. Mosquito activity is high. Thank you.

The community thanks Traffic Engineering again for installing the No Parking Signs on both sides of Magnolia, west of Bridal Vail in the Bridges at Gilbert Community. I am the community manager and I am happy to report that although the signs were removed by someone within 24 hours, the new signs are still in place. In spite of those signs this morning I noted this vehicle parked on Magnolia. It has been there many times before. It is a small light green colored Hundai Hatchback and the license plate appears to be AZ CTH1831. Thank you for your assistance in helping the residents in this area correct this long pending safety matter. Cathy LaTona

I am the community manager for the Bridges at Gilbert HOA. I had originally sent this to traffic engineering but they asked that I send this instead to Traffic Enforcement. I hope I have reached the correct dept. as that is not one of the options to select on Gilbert 311.

There is a very narrow street in the community (corner of Magnolia and Bridal Vail). Every night several residents park on this street all the way to the corner. If people were to park on both sides, it would be impossible for emergency vehicles to pass. Several near misses have been reported relative to children on bicycles, ambulances, and potential head ons . One of these cars see in the photo below is literally 2 feet from the corner. The HOA is unable to determine who these vehicles belong to so enforcement has been impossible and we are unable to tow as these are not private streets.. Someone recently marked a tire of one of these cars, but nothing beyond that has happened. They need to be ticketed by someone with authority at the Police dept. In addition, we would like to see the Town install No Parking signs on this tiny little street. Again, it is very likely that these cars are violating Town ordinance - especially as it relates to distance to stop sign and width of the street. Further, I am advised that young adults are often seen sitting in their cars with friends blasting music and possibly sharing illegal substances. That is heresay. Can someone please investigate and issue warnings to these drivers. I am sure you are able to determine the address that these vehicles are registered to.. You will find the bulk of these cars there after 6:30 PM daily however I was at the property this morning at 9:30 am and as you can see at least two cars were still there. Hello - there is some sort of electrical box on the east side of Higley just north of E Bridges Parkway that has a missing lid and is a trip hazard. The HOA landscaper put a temporary barricade around it for safety. We assume its related to streetlights but if not, please email me your thoughts so I can pursue it elsewhere. Thanks.

Hello. I am the community manager for the Bridges at Gilbert HOA. I have received several calls of concern about the vehicle in the photo which is parked across the street from 5123 S. Moccasin Trail, near the HOA mailboxes. The windows are cracked open and the car hasn't moved in more than two weeks. We do not have access to a database of license plates and some think the vehicle might be stolen. The streets in the community are Town of Gilbert streets and we are unable to tow vehicles from Town street. The car appears to be abandoned. A resident stated that the Police agreed to tag the vehicle but we do not see a tag of any sort. Hope you can help.
