    Back Side Yale Divinity School Saint Ronan Street, New Haven, Connecticut - Prospect Hill
    A dead limb about 6-8 inches in diameter, broken off a Yale Divinity School maple tree, is hanging precariously above the sidewalk, held up for now by lower branches but gravity or wind is likely to bring it down. I reported it to the city's park, rec and trees department who say that because the tree itself is on YDS property, they can't touch it. I have emailed the dean at YDS, but no response as of yet. Meanwhile the branch is still hanging like a Damocles sword.

    Long, deep pothole in the right lane on Whitney Avenue going south just past Deepwood Drive, about a foot and a half into the road from the curb. I took a hard hit in it this afternoon and it blew my right passenger side tire out, immediately. Left a big gouge and gaping hole in the tire.
