Description

A dead limb about 6-8 inches in diameter, broken off a Yale Divinity School maple tree, is hanging precariously above the sidewalk, held up for now by lower branches but gravity or wind is likely to bring it down. I reported it to the city's park, rec and trees department who say that because the tree itself is on YDS property, they can't touch it. I have emailed the dean at YDS, but no response as of yet. Meanwhile the branch is still hanging like a Damocles sword.
