Trash & Debris not in the street Archived4311 S. Cedar St Lansing, Michigan - Lansing
House is abandoned. Garbage bags ravaged by animals with trash all around. Fallen limbs on house and driveway. Siding blown off front of house from wind storm. No one has been to check on this house since Fall 2016. We thought house property belonged to Highfields, unsure.
Putting my home on the market, so mess needs to be eliminated ASAP. My property value should not rely on dirty neighbors, but it does.

We are unable to legally park cars in front of our house without stepping in dog feces. There is an ongoing problem of people allowing dogs to defecate on the street in front of my home, even with a public space directly across from us. They do not clean up after the animals. I have witnessed neighbors walking dogs and allowing them to defecate.
I have asked politely for them to stop if/when I see them. I have shouted and posted signs to "clean up after your dogs." All attempts have failed. Now it is much worse than ever before.
The family (husband and boys) who live behind our house ALWAYS allows their dog to poop in other people's yards, to the extent that one neighbor picks it up and returns it back to their yard. I refuse to do that.
I have also witnessed a woman who lets her big brown pit bull to walk off-leash at night. I've seen her around 10 pm. The dog comes right up to the door of our house to sniff. God forbid I should step out and be bitten!
This behavior is so unfair to law-abiding pet owners. My dog stays in the fenced backyard or is otherwise on-leash.
At this point, I am labeling this as a health issue. I do not feel it is my responsibility to clean the street of a stranger's dog's feces. It's disgusting!
I would ask that you bring a street sweeper down our street to clean up the mess. As far as I can see, this has become a habit. I am including a photo from this morning, since the snow has melted somewhat, so that you can see for yourself the seriousness of this issue. This is on my side of the street, a view from my mailbox.
I am a proud homeowner, and the feces in the street devalues my property, making us look like disgusting people. Please help!
Pothole ArchivedNear 2519 South Cedar Street Lansing, Michigan - LansingNot so much a pothole, but rather a large chunk of pavement which has sunken. It is going to damage the ball joints to cars or blow out tires. It is a significant bump when you hit the raised part of the pavement. I think there is a manhole cover there. It is located on the southbound lane of S. Cedar near to Greenlawn Ave,
