  • 400 S Taney St Philadelphia, PA 19146, USA - Fitler Square

The lights for the ball court are coming on far too early in the day. Today they came on at 4:45.

There's no reason the city should be paying for electricity to be on that early in the day. It's a waste.

  • 1132-1162 Arch St Philadelphia, PA 19107, USA - City Center East

I almost got hit by a group of people riding those Segway things. I was pushing my daughter in a stroller near Reading Terminal Market.

How is it that the city has such an issue with bicycles on the sidewalk and let's motorized vehicles operated by novice drivers to ride on the same sidewalks. My 6year old son even gets asked to get off his bicycle at Sister Cities Park by Center City District.

Segway use on the sidewalk is dangerous on crowded sidewalks and are a nuisance. If bicycles are supposed to be in the street then so are Segways.

Far too much smoking inside the underground concourses around City Hall Subways. Why can't these laws be enforced?
  • 240 N 13th St Philadelphia, PA 19107, USA - City Center East
240 north 13th street has a huge sign advertising a contractor business on the north facing side. I don't think it's properly zoned for the area.

Mathematics, Civics and Sciences Charter School teachers have been breaking traffic laws while putting students and area residents in danger. During dismissal some teachers leave the school parking lot at 1316 Buttonwood Street driving down the one way street the wrong way against traffic. It has been happening occasionally for at least 2 years. Founder of school and 6th District Police have been notified with little or no positive result.

Our teachers are figures in the community who need to lead by example and cannot behave above the law in spite of children or local resident safety.

  • 1301-1399 Nectarine St Philadelphia, PA 19123, USA - Callowhill
Private trailer parked on sidewalk and in street that does not allow parking. This trailer has been idle for more than 6 months, and now has flat tires. It impedes traffic on this small street and covers the sidewalk.
  • 1500 Spring Garden Street Philadelphia, PA - Logan Square

The 1500 Spring Garden building has charter busses that take people to and from the train station, they are operated by a company called DLC. While the DLC buses are loading and unloading at 1500 Spring Garden they stop in the bicycle lane and right hand traffic lane. This causes major traffic problems in the area and is unsafe. I saw a guy on a bike today almost get hit by one of the DLC buses.

Maybe if buses did this around the corner on the less busy 15th street side of the building it would be better.

Last year I spoke to someone at the police department and they said whenever I see it to call 911.
