MIAMI LAKES

The first time here a long time ago they made sure the messages were in a private set up, that's why many are not aware of what's been ongoing issue with folks blocking the entrances to folks homes during 1:45- 3:50 every school day on Silver Oak Drive it is imperative that the school pick up for students is on the other side of the street via Miami Lakeway South by 67 Avenue. If a parent is truly concerned for their child's safety I would not have them walk all the way from the school to this location, nevertheless Interfering with folks homes along the process. Numerous attempts to Mayor Cid, Police, Councilmembers and nothing has been done. So unfortunately here the ultimate step would be to bring in the Media for help. Sadly our town elected officials have no regards for our safety, and well being and the very same folks wanting our votes have wandered off as if it's not their problem. I would seriously ask them all, come by Silver Oak during the times of 1:45- 3:50 on a school day and see what I have been dealing with, and answer me this- had this happen in your front of the house what will happen then?? im sure it would of been addressed differently, yet the sole Police Officer whom is assigned to the school himself has told me yeah we do have an issue here yet he can't leave his assigned post. Mind you folks, this is the same area where around the corner the people with business vans/trucks are parking and no citations have been issued..

What does it show you? ignorance, and in my view - DISRESPECTED.
