32nd street has become a hot spot for sideshows and speeding. On 2/25 at 2am, 14 shots were fired at this intersection from a speeding car, hitting all of the buildings around the intersection and several parked cars.

This man has an encampment, we've reported him several times for having dangerous fires going as well as carrying weapons as shown in the photos. This is extremely unsafe as this park is meant for kids and families. He just casually walks around with axes and other weapons. He is aggressive and who knows what he will do with what he is carrying. When trying to pass his encampment that is covering the sidewalk, he always yells at people and tells them to move.. Now with a weapon who knows what he will do. ..

This can’t go on like this. It is absolutely unacceptable that we should have to live and work next to this. I am as concerned as anyone about the health and safety of the people who are living amidst this garbage but something has to be done.

Structure setup on Mandela parkway park

It is not legal nor compassionate to allow someone to live like this By allowing this encampment to persist and grow, you are allowing the park to be destroyed and deterring law-abiding citizens from using this wonderful green space The people of west Oakland deserve better

Encampment on Mandela Parkway median, previously reported by others on 12/3/23, has grown by 3x the size over 3 weeks due to hoarding and is now blocking over half the width of the pathway. 12/24/23 photo.

This man has been reported multiple times by a multitude of people and his encampment keeps growing. He how is not only blocking the sidewalk but the street. Oakland needs to do something about this. How is it that he can do this and the moment you say something to him he yells at you and calls you all types of things (no matter how you approach him).
