Notified About

  • E Chestnut St Louisville/Jefferson County metro government (balance), KY - Phoenix Hill
Traffic heading North on East Chestnut and turning left on East Jefferson are not aware that traffic heading South on Baxter (going straight) has the right-of-way. I have almost been hit and have seen multiple near-misses at this intersection.
  • Greenbelt Highway And Ashby Lane Louisville Kentucky - Louisville/Jefferson County metro

Too many times neighbors rush to the rescue of injured drivers due to this intersection being so dangerous and having no traffic assistance! With high volumns of traffic at ALL hours of the day, no traffic light in place, and cars trying to enter and exit the Greenbelt Highway, this intersection is another fatality waiting to happen! Since the new apartment complex was put in across from Ashby Lane, it has not only increased the traffic at that intersection, but has made attemping to make a left hand turn from ANY direction even more dangerous! There have been countless accidents, including fatalities at this location and we need something done about it! Multiple requests have been made for this traffic light to be installed! At one point we were told that THREE more fatalities had to happen before anything could be done! THREE MORE! Thats outrageous! Why should three people have to die when you can prevent it now?

This past Tuesday (06/20/2017) those three fatalities were almost myself and three of my children, due to a severe accident just 6 feet away from us while we were at the stop sign trying to turn left onto the southbound lane of Greenbelt Highway! It was an explosion of car parts that rained down on my vehicle when two cars collided while one was making a left hand turn crossing the northbound lane onto Ashby Lane! A mother and her two year old son who i cared for for over an hour as well as two teenagers from the other car were rushed to the hospital by ambulance!

An elderly couple (Zelma and Thomas Roberts) lost there lives trying to make that same left hand turn onto Ashby from Greenbelt, just trying to make it home!

This can't keep happening! Please help us save the lives of countless people in the future! PLEASE install a traffic light for all of the Louisville residents and others who have to face this dangerous intersection!

  • Scenic Loop Louisville/Jefferson County, KY 40205, USA - Cherokee Seneca

By Kentucky law, bicyclists must obey all posted traffic signs. The traffic signs in Cherokee and Shawnee Scenic Loops currently PROHIBIT clockwise riding. At every park entrance there is a posted "One Way" sign, and shortly thereafter a "Do Not Enter" sign.

It is not the intention of Parks to prohibit this use of the scenic loops. "Except Bicycle" signs need to be tacked on to allow bicyclists the right to travel clockwise on these loops.

Attached to this SeeClickFix report, find an image of such a sign.

The scenic loops do not need "except pedestrians" or "except skaters" signs because those modes of transportation are not vehicles under KY traffic law, and they are not forced to obey "one way" or "do not enter" signs in the first place.

  • Tall Grass/Weeds Acknowledged
9206 Collingwood Rd Louisville, Kentucky, 40299 - Louisville/Jefferson County metro
Tall weeds and wood pieces in yard
  • Interstate 64 Louisville, KY 40202, USA - Central Business District
Extremely ugly and Loud elevated expressway that ruins the image and marketability of Louisville. The current Ohio River Bridge plans will widen this section by 70+ feet and will quadruple stack ramps where the Kennedy bridge comes ashore. Consequently the elevated I-64 interstate will be at the height of the Kennedy bridge (60 ft) where Preston/River Rd are and slope to the current height by the time it reaches the 2nd St bridge. Ughhhhh, it almost makes me vomit just thinking about it. I-64 west of this point will be unchanged and remain extremely ugly and loud as well, despite the fact that a well landscaped limited access at-grade boulevard with a speed limit of 45 and pedestrian overpasses could easily handle the traffic volume.
  • Intersection Of Bardstown Rd And Eastern Pkwy Louisville/Jefferson County, KY - Deer Park
I have lived in the Highlands for 3 years, and never understood for the life of me why there are left turn arrows to turn on to Bardstown Road from Eastern Parkway, but there is not an arrow for those wanting to turn left on to Eastern Parkway from Bardstown Road. Any busy part of the day creates a backup of cars waiting for one person to turn left at this intersection. I think it would GREATLY help with traffic flow in an already congested Highlands area. :)
  • E Broadway & Baxter Ave Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky 40204 - Cherokee Triangle
At this busy 4-way intersection, there are only crosswalks on the North and West sides. We need crosswalks on the South and East sides. For foot traffic coming north on baxter, you have to backtrack a third of a mile to find a crosswalk - it takes 15 minutes to legally cross the street there!
  • 6th And Jefferson St. Louisville, KY - Central Business District
Extremely dangerous fountain with no barriers to keep public from walking through this fountain. Large drain holes and water fountain holes are not covered with any protection to prevent personal injury.
  • 1825 Gardiner Ln Louisville, KY 40205, USA - Hayfield Dundee
The Parking lot of the Gardiner lane Ice Skating Rink has major potholes and general disrepair. It is hazards and an eyesore.
  • 12212 Shelbyville Rd Louisville, KY 40243 - Middletown
It is very difficult to turn left on to Shelbyville Rd. from Evergreen by the Chase Bank & Speedway. A turning lane with light arrow is needed. All the other ways have the turning arrows, which makes it much safer to turn left. I have seen many accidents and near misses from people turning left on to Shelbyville Rd. Most of the time you have to wait till the light turns red to complete your turn.
  • 925 Baxter Ave Louisville/Jefferson County metro government (balance), KY 40204 - Cherokee Triangle
Has parking for only 2 bikes on a BikeHauser loop rack. At peak hours - Tuesday + Thurday 6pm - its not unusual to need parking for 5 bikes.
  • 3200 W Broadway Louisville, KY - Russell

THE TRAFFIC LIGHT AT THE INTERSECTION OF S 32nd ST AND W BROADWAY IS DANGEROUSLY TOO SHORT [CROSSING BROADWAY]. IT IS APPROX. 10 SECONDS OR LESS. I HAVE TO CROSS THIS STREET NEARLY EVERYDAY WITH MY BABY. ONE INCIDENT: WE HAD GOT OFF THE BUS AND WERE CROSSING ON THE RED LIGHT AT A FAST PACE. CARS WERE IN THE LANES ON BROADWAY WAITING FOR THE GREEN LIGHT. I.M PUSHING MY SON IN HIS STROLLER. WE GET HALFWAY ACROSS THE STREET AND THE LIGHT CHANGES. ALL BUT ONE CAR WAITED FOR US TO CROSS. WE WERE NEARLY HIT! TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE. THE FIRST OF MANY! SOMEONE NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS TODAY! WE NEED ATLEAST 15-20 SECONDS TO CROSS. SCHOOL BUSES LET CHILDREN OFF THERE, AS WELL AS THE TARC BUS. I'VE SEEN SEVERAL NEAR-ACCIDENTS. PLEASE FIX THIS BEFORE THERE ARE FATALITIES!

    THANK YOU & GOD BLESS!
