  • Road Surface Repair Acknowledged
64th St S Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33707 - St. Petersburg
The roadway on 64th Street S where it crosses Bear Creek near 6th Ave S seems to be sinking. The depression is getting worse. I am afraid it might become a serious cave-in at some point.
  • 835 22nd Ave N St Petersburg, FL, 33704, USA - Crescent Heights Neighborhood Association
There are deep dips in the road, center lanes and it feels like these could become sink holes FAST. Scary to drive on it. Repairs have been made numerous times but still lacking.

I am livid. I just got a flat tire on a very deceiving pot hole. It was under water and cannot be seen by the eye. This is the second time I have driven over this hole, and I am shocked the city hasn't fixed it. This street becomes one lane and is *very* busy. It is nearly impossible to avoid it. I am now paying money I don’t have for a new tire.
  • 45th Ave S & Sunrise Dr S Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33705 - St. Petersburg
On 45th Avenue South, between Juanita Way South and Sunrise Drive SE by the speed bumps, there are several “pot holes” on both sides that there has been an attempt to paved them over on several occasions. As soon as a rain storm comes, the “paved pot holes” open back up and are even bigger this time. They are usually covered with water, so you think you’re driving on water and it turns out to be a re-open pot hole. Would it be possible to just re-pave the whole road from Sunrise Drive SE to the speed bump? This way it’s a smooth, uniform look and the community is not ruining their tires because of the continued re-opening of the pot holes. Thank you for your consideration to this matter.

    227 46th Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33703 - St. Petersburg
This house has been vacant for about a year but for most of the time there has been ongoing construction. According to the guys doing the work, they've added capacity for additional people to live there including an apartment downstairs splitting the back of the garage which I don't believe is allowed due to flood zoning. They are obviously preparing for a house full of unrelated renters as shown on Hotpads. This is a zoned RESIDENTIAL home not an apartment building. They also have markings showing an extreme edge to edge of property line driveway extension going in which will increase the chance of my car (in foreground) being hit by a crowd of backing cars which has already occurred twice since construction started.

“Ranking first in Florida for its park system, St. Pete provides access to parks, playgrounds, and preserves, offering residents and visitors thousands of acres for recreation, sports, exercise, and exploration.”

The state of our waterfront parks is unacceptable—trash everywhere and permanent encampments taking over what should be community spaces. The city park manager should be held accountable; our parks deserve better, and so do the people who rely on them as safe, clean places to gather.

    809 10th Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33701 - Uptown

809 10th Ave N (including addresses 815 10th Ave N and 811 10th Ave N) is listed as a short term rental on AirBnB. Property Appraiser website shows parcel use as 0822 Apartments (5-9 units), no special exemptions, or classifications (NT-2, a zone where hotels and motels are not permitted). Eight units are listed on AirBnB.

The host is using the same LLC name as the owner, but the AirBnB host profile shows they live in Tampa and the mailing address for the property goes to California. This was reported multiple times in the past but was not pursued due to issues with the name/address of the reporting party.
They purchased this property in February 2021, before that these apartments were listed on Zillow for $895/mo, it is shameful that all of those units are now illegal AirBnBs.

Across the EIGHT listings they have received 647 reviews since. This exceeds the allotted 3 times a STR can be rented for less than 30 days in any consecutive 365 day period, and the owners are clearly aware of this considering the numerous cases they have had with the codes dept.
The majority of these calendars are filled with upcoming reservations, will anything be done about these blatant repeat offenders?

  • 6200 29th Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33710 - St. Petersburg
I have been trying to reach the city about having a dead sycamore tree removed. The tree is on city property and the roots are going out to the street. I am concerned that it may come down if we get a bad storm as branches continually fall from the tree with just a little wind. I would greatly appreciate it if you could at least respond to me and keep me informed as I have been trying to contact the city since 8/16/24 and have not heard anything. I emailed the trees@stpete.org as well as called the number listed, left a voicemail and haven't received any reply.
  • 449 64th Ave S Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33705 - Greater Pinellas Point Civic Association
Underlying sewage leak that's excavating under road pavement. Open sewer odor, worsening conditions. A car and separately a bicyclist, have hit the barricade, I've put it back in place twice.
There should be two speed bumps on this road, a father and son were almost hit two weeks ago, many other examples of close calls, this is a street that borders a park, some cars hit 45 mph, accelerating from one end to the other, children, pets, dog walkers have been in danger. They literally floor their vehicles turning off 4th Street and slam their brakes as they approach 7th st on the other end. Long time coming, should be done before tragedy strikes.. why not I ask, why wouldn't you put speed bumps on this road.
  • 1021 Melrose Ave S Saint Petersburg FL 33705, United States - Thirteenth Street Heights Neighborhood Association
Kid at 1021 Melrose blocked the alleyway with garbage that was on his lot and now no one can pass though. It's not fair
