Pronounced lip in the sidewalk joint that causes people to trip. I just witnessed a woman trip and hit her head because of this. I have reported this several times, please fix it.
  • Horrible alley! Acknowledged
3124 Grayland Ave Richmond, Virginia - Carytown
This will be my third attempt to request maintenance in our alley. There is so much trash and so many potholes, that it is undriveable. Please come fix this ASAP.
  • 2904 Grayland Ave Richmond, Virginia - Carytown
There is a garbage heap in the alley behind garage, NOT in garbage containers. Not just bulk furniture items, but also food trash, boxes, lots small broken household items. Bad smell. Trash collectors have come by and not picked it up. Probably because it is not contained.
  • alley repair Archived
212 South Belmont Avenue Richmond, Virginia - Carytown
The alley between South Belmont Avenue and McCloy Street is in need of repair. There are several large potholes.
  • 3400 Grayland Avenue Richmond, Virginia - Carytown
The corner of Grayland Avenue and Freeman is severely overgrown on the side closest to the Expressway (but on the City-owned side of the fence). Weeds are over 6 feet high in some places making it difficult for traffic turning from Grayland to Freeman to see, completely blocking the sidewalk on both sides of the intersection, obscuring the stop sign at the intersection and completely engulfing the FIRE HYDRANT at the intersection. Requests have been made to the city by phone and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. This situation is a hazard and cannot be allowed to continue.
  • 200 S Belmont Ave Richmond, VA - Carytown
The entire stretch of S Belmont between W Cary St and Grayland Ave was overlooked or poorly cleared in the most recent leaf removal. Signs were posted but later taken down. No street cleaning vehicles were observed
  • 3132 Grayland Ave Richmond, VA - Carytown
This house has been in bad shape longer than I've been here, but it appears to be worsening. The upstairs windowpanes have now fallen out of their frames, leaving the windows partially open and exposed. Mountains of garbage and abandoned furniture are blocking the entire front yard, porch, and entry and spilling out onto the sidewalk. The situation is has reached a level where it is unignorable--it is clearly hazardous for the resident and for neighboring houses. Please investigate, for the sake of the resident(s) well-being at the very least.

This tree was split in half during the hurricane the summer before last. This year it is struggling to bloom, and I'm afraid it might fall down if there is a strong storm. Can this tree be evaluated to see if it is structurally sound? It is located directly in front of 3208 Parkwood Avenue.
  • 3100 Grayland Ave Richmond, Virginia - Carytown
The owner maintains a box dumpster in the yard of this house as a dump site for his real estate business. The house at this location has been 'under renovation' for over a year with long periods of inactivity. Many transient people use the site for dumping.
  • 201-299 Freeman Road Richmond, Virginia - Carytown

The block of Freeman Road between Parkwood and Grayland has no sidewalks.

This is an area that is so eminently walkable but which also has a decent amount of car traffic. This block is a connector for all of City Stadium neighborhood and Carytown.

  • 3015 Grayland Ave Richmond, VA - Carytown

Absentee owner, never mows or takes care of the yard. Please come mow and charge the owner

    Thanks!
