I am writing this letter as a resident of Creekside Village to bring to your attention a very serious situation. At the intersection of Creekside Village Blvd & Marley Neck Blvd, the number of accidents or near accidents have risen to alarming levels.

The entrances & exits of Creekside Village have become a severe danger to the safety of both drivers and residents in this community. Daily, we witness near accidents that could potentially claim the life of our residents. It is apparent that the problem lies with a lack of a traffic light and speeding vehicles on Marley Neck Blvd.

In order to circumvent future injuries and fatalities, I am requesting that a traffic light be installed at the intersection of Marley Neck Blvd & Creekside Village Blvd. As you can appreciate, I’m very anxious to see this dealt with quickly.

I hope that my message will be heard and that the severity of this situation will be recognized by your department. Thank you for looking into this matter. I remain hopeful of your timely and positive response.

There are a series of potholes on Concourse Drive in front of the Embassy Suites Hotel that should be repaired before they get any worse.

Very low water pressure.

There is a leak in the roadway. It was "repaired" during the summer. Then there was a giant pothole that was repaired. But the leak continues.

It's probably 100's if not 1000's of gallons/day

Concern is twofold. What is happening below (think sinkhole)? What will happen this winter when the road starts to freeze (it will be a giant sheet of ice)?

The BJ’s wholesale cub continues night after night to violate the Anne Arundel County nighttime noise ordinance.

The issues occur almost every night but seem to be particularly bad between Monday and Thursday. The unloading of trucks in the middle of the night causes extreamly loud noises between 10pm and 5am. Noise levels are high enough that on occasion will cause my house to shake. The loading and unloading of trucks is in addition to the frequent horn blowin, dumpster emptying and truck idling that occurrs between 10pm and 5am. I can’t not emphasize enough how regular and illegal this behavior is.

We have called the police and so far no progress has been made.

I didn’t make the zoning laws but I expect both businesses and individuals to follow them.

Trash is piled out side on the car in the driveway and the side of the house has mattress and other trash and on the front porch there are bags of white trash bags . And at the curb that was taken out after trash pick up last Thrus 9-26-19. There is a van seat in the front yard that’s been there for a week. The grass has not been cut for awhile . It brings the neighborhood down ,coming down the street and seeing the trash piled up . That brings unwanted animals in the neighborhood and then the trash will be all over neighbors property.

My neighbor had the police show up last week at her son's HS grad party to turn their music down it was 11:10pm. Capital Raceway is so loud now I can't even sit on our porch!! We have been here 22 years and because of the new housing developments - lots of trees have been cut down and now the noise is just deafening! Crofton use to be a quiet area - not any more. Isn't there a noise curfew? If so the Raceway needs to abide by that. Is just not right.

No water! Second time in two weeks. This is not acceptable. Needs to be broadcasted when an issue occurs.

Sidewalks extending to from Tanyard Knoll Lane to Solley Rd.

The listed location is a hoarding situation. They have junk everywhere, as well as several inoperable vehicles. There's chemicals laying around and many children live there. It's not a safe environment and all of the neighbors are tired of it. Many of us have contacted the health department and nothing is being done.

This property has been under construction since the fall. In addition to a large hole filled with standing water, there is an abandoned RV, and a large pile of trash sitting just outside of it. This trash pile has a very unpleasant smell, and is attracting raccoons and other small mammals.
