  • 4208 Wingate Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Falls Of Neuse
The City of Raleigh needs a third leaf pick-up each season. With only two pick-ups per season, leaves rot in the street, wash into storm drains, blow back onto yards, interfere with traffic, etc.
This issue was presented to the COR Public Works Directer this past spring at a meeting of the Midtown CAC, and strongly supported by the residents.
Please have the Raleigh City Council address this issue.
    Thank you for your attention.
  • 900 Block Of Tyrrell Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Six Forks
This issue has been pending since being reported in July -- the pole was broken early in 2018 and continues to pose a hazard to pedestrians walking down Tyrrell. This includes school children walking to Brooks Elementary. When the accident occurred, a new pole was installed; but the old broken one was left pending relocation of all utilities. The appropriate public utility needs to be made to remove this pole since they obviously do not see it as a pressing issue

A utility pole was broken at some point and the replacement pole is in place. Some utilities have transferred their lines to the new pole, but somehow the completion of the transfer and removal of the broken pole got forgotten. The poles have been in this state for well over 1 year. Please have someone complete this transfer.
  • 921 Wake Towne Dr Raleigh, NC 27609, Raleigh, North Carolina - Six Forks
Large commercial trucks are habitually violating City ordinance 11-2176 by parking overnight in front of the Extended Stay on a city street, Wake Towne Drive.
  • 715 Hardimont Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Falls Of Neuse

Weekly, trash cans are left in the bike lane, blocking access.

There is a large dead tree that is on greenway property. It may come down in the occuring storms that we have been having. It is close to the greenway trail on city property. The base is about 2 feet across so it is a large tree and a tall one as well. I have many other pictures I can send but it appears that I can only download one. The picture that I have sent has been taken from the back of my house. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
  • 827 Bankston Woods Way Raleigh, North Carolina - Six Forks
At the corner of Bankston Woods Way and Rushworth Drive in the Townes at Cheswick neighborhood, there is an ongoing parking issue, in which cars consistently park at the very edge of the intersection, thus making a one-car-only pathway and presenting a visual obstruction to incoming and outgoing drivers. The neighborhood has agreed that signage indicating something to the effect of "No Parking Here to Curb" or similar is sorely needed. This is definitely creating a situation where collisions could occur (and nearly have on multiple occasions) and endangers children walking and biking in the neighborhood as well. Our HOA is at a loss because the streets are not private and although they have reached out to the repeat parkers who station their cars there (they also have a driveway and other overflow parking options) the parkers have refused to stop doing this. We would like signage to officially discourage this dangerous parking choice. Thank you!

Need No U-turn sign. Cars coming out of the parking deck (above capital grill) turn left, then u-turn around the median and go uphill towards 6 Forks. This causes congestion as they often have to wait for traffic on the other lane to clear

800 Tyrrell Road Raleigh North Carolina - Six Forks
The recent sidewalk construction on Tyrrell concluded with a modification to Tyrrell Rd at the intersection with Hyde Street. After the modification/repaving, there is a very significant dip across Tyrrell Rd; it is so severe that it is dangerous. I think possibly the pavement has settled where they dug up the road at this intersection. Whatever the reason or cause, it needs to be leveled out like it use to be ASAP.
  • Anderson Dr & Oxford Rd Raleigh, NC, 27608, USA - Five Points
For years there have been many complains about souped up cars on Six Forks, Wake Forest, Raleigh Beltline, Wade Ave, major roadways. In recent months the noise has increased in the Anderson Drive/Oxford Road area. I observed a car today at corner of Oxford and Anderson traveling on Anderson with rear tires jacked up at a level above the hood of the car, apparently not street legal. A lot of noise all week. Can the city post police cars in strategic areas to signal that this will not be tolerated? Presumably these same cars are road racing based on the way their engines rev. Even if they are not pulled over, some police presence could potentially be useful. Thank you.
