    Almost 1000 vehicles (including 100 commercial vehicles) use our street as a racetrack each day. Four other nearby streets as well. Police spokesman said to media "there's nothing we can do unless we catch them." DUH! I don't believe that the police can or will do anything so we need other options. Speed humps can help along with no truck signs. Speed cameras would be great and a cash cow for our city but Mass. currently has no legislation. Traffic is a city wide problem as we continue to lose our owner occupied homes which then become rental property which increases traffic and crime which worsens the problem. Chicopee needs to wake up as we our losing our neighborhood identities and becoming more like Springfield and Holyoke.

    Just my opinion but the back entrance to Big Y, Charter & B.J's needs to be closed off and all traffic needs to enter from Memorial Dr. There is way too much going on at that intersection when it's possible to use the lights on Memorial Dr to get into that area. All other venues are entered from there so can that one.

    For the past year, there have been more than 30 unregistered, used cars, repairs, going on at this address. 3-4 cars parked deliberately in the front yard. Stack of 8-10 old tires in the driveway. Repairs, sales going on nightly, and weekends. These cars are recycled/sold on a weekly basis.

    Extreme speeding on Wheatland Ave and Sunnymead to Archie cut through. Neighborhood is densely populated with many children walking and playing. Cars go excessively fast and I have witnessed on numerous occasions, children almost getting hit. This needs to be addressed! There is a school in this area and it is a danger to the children. I feel there needs to be speed bumps on these streets surrounding the school area. Please help, I am speaking on behalf of many neighbors. Thank you

    This has been an issue for 4 years. Their dogs bark all day, all night, everyday. I am moving because of these dogs. There is so peaceful enjoyment in this neighborhood. They get out outside for hours all year and do care that the dogs barkss for hours upon hours. Something needs to be done immediately. I barely sleep because the dogs bark all hours of the night (usually 2am-5am). I try to take naps after work, there goes the dogs... barking as usual.

    Resident has 10 vehicles with 4 known unregistered vehicles on property and on street. They attach plates to vehicles when on the street or back into their driveway to avoid police taking notice. They’re running an illegal repair shop & have vehicles delivered on flat beds and drag their car jack across the road and operate their auto repair machinery late into the night. The street has their cars parked in all available spots and they block our driveways. On weekly trash day there is no place for us to put our barrels in the street and the trash trucks have difficulty collecting it due to all their vehicles.

    To whom it may concern,
    My home is the first house on Oakridge Street. Each and every day drivers continuously speed up and down the street with no respect for others. There are no signs that indicate the speed limit. This is a great concern to myself and most neighbors because we all have small children and/or pets. I have witnessed it many times and have nearly been hit by speeding cars when walking in the neighborhood. I really would appreciate it if someone would come to Oakridge and put up a sign encouraging drivers what the speed limit is in this neighborhood. Thank you.

    How could someone stop school buses from traveling down a side street so they can eliminate waiting at a stop sign? St. Onge street has become the "shortcut" for school buses and parents that do not wish to take Rolf Avenue onto Dale street but rather they come down St. Onge Street to get to Dale Street and they do it quickly. Is there a way to post a sign on the the corner of Rolf and Kendall Street (the St. Onge side) stating NO BUSES or make St. Onge Street a one way street going out toward Rolf Avenue? If needed i will be glad to get signatures from everyone on the street. They are totally disgusted with the issue. This has started about three years ago and more and more traffic now come speeding down the street.
