    This is the second major wreck at the intersection of Spruce St/7th Ave and Park Blvd in six days. There are way too many people speeding at often more than 2x the posted speed limit of 25 mph down lower Park Blvd, and many of these drivers also cross the double yellow lane into oncoming traffic along the curves and then drive through red lights. Please, please, PLEASE implement regular traffic enforcement along lower Park Blvd (at least upper Park Blvd has a median) as well as a high visibility enforcement operation. People are being injured and someone could easily die, and the City has done nothing to combat this problem in the 9+ years I've lived at this corner.

    This has been an ongoing issue for the 10 years living in Oakland, and I have lived in the Lake Merritt area. However, I feel it has been a regular occurrence of excessively loud cars and motorcycles which may have modified exhaust systems and/or mufflers removed. I thought CA and Oakland had a law on excessive noise from these vehicles. Now that Lake Merritt has attracted large crowds, illegal parking and vending, these vehicles have been a regular occurrence but there seems to be no enforcement such as fines or police petrolling the area. Hearing this every day from my apartment or walking as a pedestrian is a nuisance and also scares my pets. How can we put an end to this. I wonder if residents nearby on Lakeshore and Grand Ave feel the same way.

    The signals were broken today. They were all showing tayt it was ok to walk. I had a green light, but the crosswalk signal for the pedestrian that almost walked in front of me said they had 11 seconds left to cross the street. This is the second time I've noticed this in the past week or so. I thought I didn't see correctly the first time. Thankfully the pedestrian corrected himself and hopped back on the sidewalk.

    Cars are illegally parked in the median on Lakeshore Ave. This has happened since early March when the weather started getting nice. This has been happening for the last few years. The remedy last year was to close off the side of the street near the lake and the median with cones, and the police would monitor the area. The issue of double parking and median parking is happening again. Can I make a suggestion? How about towing the cars away. It's apparent that these people disregard the rules and have no basic respect and consideration for others. I also want to mention the amplified music and loud motorcycles and cars with modified exhaust systems. There's a noise ordinance, but why isn't it enforced? I live on Merritt Ave near the Cleveland Cascade. Every day and non stop on the weekends, I hear these loud cars and motorcycles driving through my neighborhood which distracts me from my work, scares my cats, and disrupts my peace and quiet on my time off during the weekends. Please take my concerns into consideration. Thank you.

    3 houseless folks living under the historical pergola. One woman off to the far right. One man looks like he needs medical attention. The other just milling around his things. Mattress, garbage, fecal matter and evidence of fires. All is a health hazard to themselves, the public and environment.
