  I am going to place a call in this 1st thing Weds AM❗ There is an encampment in this park but this is the lone ranger tent indeed - having audaciously taken the best area of the park for a free premium view of the lake❗

  In a lawsuit filed last week, grassroots group Neighbors Together Oakland is demanding that the city enforce the encampment management policy the City Council passed last October. By failing to enforce the policy and find shelter for people sleeping outside, city staff have put Oakland’s housed residents and unhoused residents of the camps in danger, according to the lawsuit. Between November 2020 and June 2021 there were about 510 encampment fires in the city, according to the suit. And thanks to failed city policies, housed and unhoused Oakland residents are subject to “the constant threat of disease, build up of abandoned cars and wrecked vehicles, vermin, fires, and human waste,” the lawyers wrote.

  Hi, the ticket with service request #1126854 is actually for a different encampment in Pine Knoll Park. This ticket is for a single tent at a different location in Pine Knoll Park.
