    Every morning as I go to Bart there are at least 20 scooters all piled up on each other on the sidewalk in front of a red curb. They're a giant mess, an eyesore, and none of the riders lazily dropping them off are wearing helmets or any other type of safety or visibility gear. The hundreds of people entering and leaving the station at rush hour have to not only navigate around each other but this huge mess of badly organized scooters. Please make these irresponsible scooter companies who did NOT coordinate with the city before dropping them in our streets where kids and tourists zoom around with no helmets on the sidewalk do something about this problem!

    This is a letter of complaint regarding a customer driving your scooter.

    This particular customer HIT the sideview mirror on the driver side of my car, while I was at a stop light on 14th/Broadway in Downtown Oakland.

    He continued to drive and after I beeped my horn at him, he proceeded to give me the middle finger and shout "@#$% you" at me. He then stopped his scooter and proceeded to stare at at me to see my reaction - is my guess.

    He was not following traffic laws that are required for motorized scooters:
    * Driving w/o a helmet
    * NOT driving in the bike lane
    * Going between lanes and running a red light

    I was shocked that my mirror was hit, unnecessarily and felt threatened after I beeped my horn in reaction.

    I do not have any photos or a scooter #, but wanted to share this encounter so that you all might regulate these scooters that are ransacking the area a bit better.

    While I realize your concern may not be safety, because it seems anyone can hop on them, my hope is that something is done to prevent something like this happening to any other driver who's commuting to work or anywhere else.

    These obnoxious scooters are here again blocking a public sidewalk, in this case right in front of Trader Joe’s - they appear to be lined up three together the way that the company sets them up, As as opposed to the way that so many careless riders leave them a randomly strewn across sidewalks and other public walkways. Why isn’t the city doing something about this
