It has been over a year since this was first reported. It would appear that non-permitted floats are not a priority to the city when other issues in the area come first even though they were reported well after this issue.

  • 1412 Elizabeth Pl Nw Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
Last August I reported the School District cut down.the green belt between Commodore Lane and the high school. No vegetation or trees have been replanted. Code require a 100% vegetative screen. 15 years ago the School District did the same thing. Then the city promptly put in place a plan requiring replanting. The residents on Elizabeth Pl want our green belt restored.

  • Lynwood Center Bainbridge Island, Washington - Bainbridge Island
A number of neighbors in the Roost neighborhood join me to report a noise issue emanating from the Sawan restaurant. We have been concerned about this nuisance since we all moved here in 2017. The noise is coming from the exhaust fan on the roof of the building. The restaurant was sold recently to a new owner. Since then, the volume of the noise has increased, and it runs from about 11:00 am until around 9:00 pm, seven day per week, which is a significant increase in the number of hours per day that the fan runs compared to prior to the change in ownership. Some of the home owners here report that it has become so loud that they find it very difficult to enjoy being in their own backyards. We are also concerned that this nuisance will negatively impact the value of our homes. We are all familiar with the city noise ordinance, and we believe that the noise coming from the fan exceeds the allowable decibel level as set out in city and state law. We ask that the code compliance officer contact us so decibel level readings can be taken from our properties.

  • 9893 Sportsman Club Rd Ne Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
9893 Sportsman Club Rd NE was approved to 'Remove 4 hazardous trees adjacent to access' under PLN52119. Visible from the road and shown in the side by side comparison of older Google Maps images and more recent images in this very system, it seems a large area was cleared instead.
  • 849 Taurnic Pl Nw Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
The new construction at 849 Taurnic Place appears to be encroaching on the mandatory setback ( the white marker at the forefront of the photo is the property line). The construction has not received its final occupancy permit at this time, however construction appears to be close to complete.

  • 10730 Ne Country Club Rd Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
Multiple contractors are still continuing to work on this site when it appears the permit has expired? The building site has been under construction for over 5 years. The commercial size indoor pool heating and cooling system exceeds background noise for a residential neighborhood.
