Town of Needham PLUS

This telephone pole is located in a spot that continues to be a hazard for visitors and delivery vehicles that pull into our driveway. It has been hit over a dozen times, resulting in damage to vehicles. The most recent incident was with a child in the car this weekend and we cannot understand why nothing can be done. We have contacted Verizon and the town to no avail. Please advise how we can resolve this hazard. Thank you!

There continues to be an increasing number of motorists using the I-95 south left turn only lanes to jump the traffic in the right through lane. This is causing an increasing safety issue as well as adds to the traffic back-up on Kendrick. The more motorists use the left turn only lanes to go straight, the more it seems to encourage others to do the same. It’s like follow the crowd. The lack of clear guide lines (all faded) may be contributing to the problem despite there being overhead left only turn signs. Is the State Police aware of this issue? They also should be patrolling the interchange, not just NPD.

There is only one park bench that is set on a cement base. The other benches are sunk into the ground. Please correct this situation by having a poured cement foundation under all park benches so the height will be correct for sitting on and getting up from them. Presently the ones sunk in the ground are too low.

Bushes on corner of Melrose and great plain overgrown and effecting visibility at the corner. Not sure if public of private but causing issues when pulling out

The Fisher Street entrance to the Walker School does not have a stop sign to come on to Fisher Street. Cars and various school vans often do not stop before entering onto Fisher Street. Many of these vehicles are exceeding the sped limit and not even slowing down when there are children in animals in the road. Fisher Street does not have a sidewalk of any sort.
There is a tremendous amount of traffic all day long using this enter and leave the school. Was this entrance intended to be a main entrance to the school?

Multiple accidents on corner of Webster and High causing vehicles to land in front yards of homes, causing property damage and risk of life to young children who play in the area (area includes inflatable unicorn home) Guard rails and traffic calming measures are suggested

The benches and picnic tables in heights common Avery square are covered in lichen and mold and are rotting. They need to be replaced. Thanks!!!
