Stormwater or Site Drainage ConcernAcknowledged8813 Cardinal Court Laurel, Maryland - North LaurelDear Sir, The water is flowing, however, my concern is that the next heavy rain will float debris to the mouth of the opening. There is much grass, leaves, branches, and logs right next to the opening. I suggest a truck be sent down the stream from Cardinal Forest Circle and a small tractor pick-up the debris and load it on the truck for disposal. This correction should be adequate until the site is upgraded in 2016. Thank you.

Stormwater or Site Drainage ConcernAcknowledged4032 Wildwood Awy Ellicott City, Maryland - Ellicott CityStorm sewer in cul de sac empties into steam at back of property. In the easement between this address and 4036 about three quarters on the way to the stream exists a manhole cover that blows off when it rains and the runoff erodes some of the land on its way to find stream. It appears there is some blockage between this and the steam. This manhole is very near some play ground equipment and we worry for the kids safety.

Stormwater or Site Drainage ConcernAcknowledged9520 Frederick Road Ellicott City, Maryland - Ellicott CityCounty installed a new curb that now directs roadway drainage into my front yard. Before and After pictures attached. Before the new curb was installed I never had a problem. The new curb does not drain properly and is damaging my property with water and debris being discharged directly into my yard.

Stormwater or Drainage ConcernAcknowledged9517 Nightsong Lane Columbia, Maryland - ColumbiaOur street was recently paved. Unfortunately on our side of Nightsong Lane the pavers filled in the gutters that run along the edge of the street, making it more likely that during a storm the water will over flow the street and onto private property, flooding the homes here. We need this fixed before flooding occurs. Please reply soonest with the steps you intend to take to resolve and specify the timeframe.

Stormwater or Site Drainage ConcernAcknowledged5178 Downwest Ride Ellicott City, Maryland - ColumbiaROADWAY RUNOFF PUDDLES IN FRONT OF 5178 AND WILL NOT GO TO DRAIN WITH THE SLOPE OF ROADWAY. IN WINTER IT'S AN ICE RINK IN FRONT OF DRIVEWAY. ALSO, ONE SIDE OF THE ROAD HAS NO STORM DRAINS TO CATCH THE RUNOFF WHICH ENDS UP AT HER DRIVEWAY. THE AREA HAS SUNKEN AND JUST CONTAINS THE WATER, WINTER & SUMMER. PLEASE REPAIR SO WATER GO TO STORM DRAIN AND CONSIDER PUTTING DRAINS ON OTHER SIDE OF ROAD COMING DOWN TO BOTTOM WHEN POSSIBLE.

Stream ErosionOpen8425 Merryman St Ellicott City, MD, 21043, USA - Ellicott CityThe 2018 flood plus additional flooding from recent weeks, eroded large areas of land from the stream banks which run through private property. At the time, and in years since 2018, the property was in foreclosure, so the issue was never addressed. As the new owner, I would like the county to come resolve the damage to the stream bed. Debris from the recent storm needs to be cleared as well. Thank you.
