    Is there anyway for the traffic signals at Vassar and Main to be readjusted? The light as you enter the intersection from Vassar by the Collier Memorial is very misleading. I’ve almost continued on thinking it was a green for me because the signal for Main is angled more towards Vassar than the Vassar Street signal is - in the photo I’m stopped at a red light. I’ve seen other people make this mistake and jam on the brakes or continue through the red.

    These officers just went through the red light - knowing there was a pedestrian waiting to cross - and after the light changed red - they just rolled right through it. Pathetic behavior

    The trash & recycling bin at the corner of JFK & Mt Auburn is blocking the crosswalk call signal. Those in wheelchairs can’t reach the button.

    Crossing signs for pedestrians are not respected. Cars go by very fast on New street and cause safety concerns mostly for children, elderly, and handicapped.

    Most cars do not stop at the crossing signs even when pedestrians are engaged on one side of the street.

    There is a very loud beeping that comes from this crosswalk at all times in the day - typically very late at night and often starts at roughly 4 in the morning. It is incredibly disruptive to sleep and productivity when working from home. I imagine it is disruptive to all who are within a block of it. It needs to be adjusted.

    This morning, I had to go to Shattuck Ace hardware, Arlington to pick-up special-order items. Mass Ave was backed up, so I made a right at Churchill Ave (0,2 miles from ABP) to go to Broadway in Somerville. When I turned right onto Alewife Brook Pkwy at the end of Matignon Road, I noticed the westbound Alewife Brook Pkwy was backed up beyond the traffic light at Woodstock Street for total of at least 0.3 miles.
    On the way back, once again, I ran into stalled traffic on the southbound Mass Ave on Arlington side.
    Please do something to mitigate this traffic congestions during rush hour if for nothing else but to reduce air pollution caused by all the idling cars.
    Sometimes the backup on northbound side goes all the way back to Pemberton. All told, there could be a mile or more if cards idling and that is a lot of air pollution!
    Please conduct traffic survey to measure the length of traffic backup on all 4 sides of the intersection during the peak of rush hour. TP&T has shown that they can conduct traffic survey without traffic counters during the community meeting period of the Cycling Safety Ordinance implementation in north Mass Ave so I am sure they can redo this survey.

    The intersection of Hampshire and Bristol has become a spot for weekly accidents. Just last week alone another car crash and a bicyclist hit. The reason for that is the new parking scheme that doesn't allow drivers coming from Bristol see well the automotive traffic from the left on Hampshire due to the first two parking spots blocking the view if occupied. With fast and heavy traffic on Hampshire of both cars and bicycles, commonly used by locals Bristol and a popular pedestrian crossing, it has become a dangerous intersection.

    I saw countless cars and trucks using the bus lane outbound in the afternoon rush hour. We have a number of open tickets about bus lane violations in the morning hours - including open ones from a year ago, like 14309563. But it's still a problem, and it's a problem outbound in the afternoon, also. I imagine a little bit of enforcement will go a long way.

    There should be a police detail at Acme Ice during busy times There are parked Mac trucks and multiple forklifts on Kirkland St at an already extremely busy intersection A pedestrian almost got hit while in the crosswalk at Kirkland and Line Street Way too dangerous
  • Mass Ave & Cedar St Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02140 - North Cambridge
    I was stopped at a red light on the left lane of the inbound Mass Ave at Cedar Street intersection around 6:25 PM when it was dark already. The right turn signal was also red. A car stopped briefly on the right turn lane and then sped through the red right turn signal straight down Mass Ave. Then the car behind it also made a brief stop and made a right turn, with right turn signal still red.
    These two cars could have caused serious accidents with pedestrians and/or bikers,
    Please install some kind traffic law enforcement measures at this intersection.

    In the 30 seconds I was in the vicinity of this illegal parking 2 separate COD patrol cars passed. No enforcement whatsoever. What’s going on?
