I’m not sure if this is for SC fix, but we just got notice yesterday they are tearing up the entire street and neighborhood to put new electrical piping underground. Could this be the time, since all wires are underground anyways, to also remove all the polls and put the wires underground like the city has for Kendall Square? It seems more important to put the wires underground where there are families than just the businesses. Is that possible? Thank you for considering.

Sennott Park is a great resource, and the renovation is beautiful. HOWEVER, all of the 3 trash bins are in the western half of the park. In particular, the Norfolk/B'way corner has historically had a problem with litter and trash. I can't believe that DPW has allowed this corner in particular to be underserved this way. Let's get this fixed ASAP!

I heard a sound inside a garbage can at Silva Park (the one near the entrance), so I looked inside and saw a rat. The rats in this area have unfettered access to a full buffet, and therefore will never be eradicated. At least, not until the city replaces these open cans at Silva with a rodent-resistant BigBelly trash receptacle, like the ones that you see along Cambridge Street.

This public park--Centanni Way--which has many park benches encouraging folks to linger and eat, has ZERO trash cans. The adjacent blocks also do not have trash cans near this park. At one time, there were 2 trash cans installed at the park but these have been missing for many months. As a result, trash is left on the ground. Please install trash cans.

Please add a trash can closer to the CT2 (Sullivan) bus stop. The closest one is several blocks away.

Takes bus 70 on a regular basis from the Green Street Bus Shelter. Since Covid there are a group of people occupying the bus shelters there. They smoke, buy, sell, and use drugs. fight with each other. Pee behind bus shelter while people are there. Outreach workers are not effective.

9:10 and 6:40 70 bus number outbound has not shown for a few weeks.

Add a trashcan at the bus shelter.

People shoplift at Walgreens central square.

Magazine st and putnam ave bus sign broken outbound.

    Thank you.
  • 40 Dickinson Street Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - The Port

Please add a few more garbage cans and empty them regularly. The existing ones are often overflowed and there's often garbage spread everywhere around.

I hope the renaming Area 4 into the Port has not been just an excuse to keep the area dirty.

There used to be a trash can outside the playground at Otis Street and Sciarappa Street. It was very convenient for dog owners. It was removed when Big Belly cans were placed inside the park. Can a new trash can (preferably a Big Belly) be placed outside the playground? Dogs are not allowed in the playground so it is difficult for dog owners to properly dispose of waste.
