Description
This stretch of Main St from Pacific to Brush (in the wood stock community area) is a very dangerous place for everyone. Cars speed up and down this street 24 hours a day. There is a blind corner of Main and Brush that cars whip around at high speeds. This is very concerning as the street is narrow and residential!! There has been a racing accident months ago, where a car was speeding down the road going 60+ MPH jumped the sidewalk, and smashed into another parked car. Thankfully no one was killed. What is concerning is that we have lots of people including multiple families with young children on walks, bike rides, runs, and general outings all the time in this neighborhood and we fear that someone is going to get killed. I and neighbors would like speed humps to be put in along Main St from Pacific to Brush. This will help control the people who speed and race along this road and hopefully keep them from killing someone.
