What you think should be a recommendation? Yes the area has changed a little bit to have the community more openly social but it is also up to the pedestrians /patrons to do their parts as well. Especially over the weekends where many enjoy that area to just interact.

If you are downtown, each neighborhood has a neighborhood association. think about joining and volunteers on the traffic committees. that's a start. contact your council person and work with him to help

A new striping configuration was implemented on Columbus Drive in Fall 2022 to reduce the number of travel lanes. The City was awarded a NJDOT Municipal Aid grant to construct permanent improvements along Columbus Drive. The Department will continue to monitor conditions and conduct community engagement in 2024 for the design of the construction project.
