The hedge has been very minimally trimmed, it still covers the curb-line, and, so tight to the corner that it obscures oncoming traffic & needs to be removed at the corner (or cutting to 2' high). The hedge is planted 100% within the ROW. Keller Williams has not done a reasonable job.

We are aware that the hedge that remains is still an issue and have already contacted the owner last week to complete the removal of the remaining hedge.

The shrubs have been trimmed; however, Code Compliance is working with the contact on the property owner to have them removed from the ROW.

Code Compliance met with the agent today and she stated they would have the shrubs removed from teh ROW.

There's a metal fence in the right of way embedded in the shrubs. Demand is made that there be code enforcement and removal of the fence & shrubbery from the ROW at least back from the corner, the situation remains dangerous and uncomfortable to drive and certainly to walk.

THE DANGER TO PEDESTRIAN REMAINS! Even though the owners have trimmed back the hedges from the stop sign and street, then trimmed back into a bare-bones hedge, it is not solved. Please, walk this route and see how dangerous this is! Walk from MARTA up Sylvan; as you pass the mailbox in the photo about to walk left onto Cartecay; pray there's no car that's turning right off of Cartecay and coming straight at you! It's not the driver's fault; there is an evergreen bush totally blocking the drivers' and pedestrians' views from seeing one another. There's no where for the pedestrian to jump out of the way either.

This issue has was first initiated over three months ago, with lots of neighbors concurring that this is a dangerous intersection. The owner trimming the hedges doesn't address the core problem of visibility. Remove the hedge, fencing, and the tree.

City Officials - it is quite frustrating for many that this continues, further it disrespects the concerns of many citizens and the law, especially unreasonable that the issue was closed. The problem is not corrected, the problems include the hedge and old metal fence that are most definitely in the ROW and thereby ILLEGAL. Respectfully, fix this now, your notices have been sent complete the work if necessary with City forces and back-charge the owner. Please respond with the City's plan of action & timeframe.

Still a danger. Drivers cannot see pedestrians because of the evergreen trees that dominate the corner. Maybe if the homeowners would limb the trees, it would help… chopping them down is best.

Right. Chop down all the trees and shrubs in the way so this guy can see where he's going. That's a problem looking for a solution.

Having trees and shrubs there forces people to actually stop instead of rolling through the intersection. They are traffic-calming devices. Don't cut them down!
