Too many pedestrians are still trying to use the NY Ave Bridge while it is under construction. It is a huge safety issue for the pedestrians not obeying the signs directing them to the detour and also for the drivers trying to avoid them. There should be more barriers and signs preventing them from entering or work with the construction to provide a couple feet of protected space for them to squeeze onto the bridge.
