The lot is still overgrown and little has been done to fix it. The owners of the lot should be notified of their negligence. It's an eyesore that also attracts bugs, rodents and snakes.

This has been going on too long. Walnut street has been improving and then there is this eyesore. The overgrowth provides place for rodents, insects, snakes to take up residence. Not what is needed to revitalize downtown area.

This lot needs to be tended to immediately. It is an eyesore to the whole neighborhood, and it is a haven for dangerous pests. If the property owners will not take responsibility, then someone else must step up. It's been like this for years, with its only tending being done by neighbors at their own cost. Downtown's neighborhoods will not improve if lots like this are permitted.

Please clean this up! It needs to be well kept on a consistent basis and the owners need to be fined if it isn't.

Update: Nothing has been done about the lot. Has the owner been identified?

Inspector Pitrowski has completed a Service Request for 1012 Walnut Street, multiple violations were found. The responsible party has/will be contacted for an attempt to resolve all issues. Although, we make every attempt to resolve these issues in a timely manner, please understand it is a timely process.
