Thanks for reporting. I have referred this to the City’s Housing and Environmental Inspections Division. When the inspectors have had a chance to investigate I will post an update.
Often these processes take some time. If the owner does not respond by the deadline, the inspector must follow up by contacting them again, imposing an additional fee and giving them another short time to comply. If this does not work, we need to engage a contractor to clean up the problem and post a lien to the property for the cost of the cleanup. Don't worry, once the inspector has initiated the case we continue to follow up until the issue is taken care of, but there's a lot of due process necessary here because we are essentially taking someone's money in order to deal with the problem.
