Our garden waste should be picked up on Fridays if there is space on the garbage truck. However, it is never picked up unless we stand at the curb and make the request to sanitation workers. They did not pick up again this week and, again, rain is destroying the paper water bags you have requested we use. A sanitation worker suggested we use plastic bags and place the leaves in our trashcan. We could begin to do that and make it easy on ourselves, but that is not an ecologically sound sanitation plan!
