Update: Debris is moved along side of sidewalk but retaining wall is in obvious disrepair. Since notice of violation was already issued, Borough Code Enforcement will work with CEA to assure smooth transition and all next steps are handled in a timely manner. CEA sent NOV on September 9th.

Asked an available local contractor to drop off card and inquire with homeowner to see if finding someone to perform the work was the issue.

Sent Notice of violation letter with Dec 30th as due date, with a response request. If no response and no abatement, citation will be written

Spoke with Owner, Laurie Reynolds, who works in Washington DC and her husband works nights and sleeps during the day. She called in response to my letter. She has had 3 different contractors come out but none have returned. She found them all on Angie's List. One did suggest that trees are causing the erosion of the retaining wall. The tree's were all removed on 12/14. She has just found a contractor to agree to do the job and estimated timeframe of completion will be the week of the 27th or beginning of January. If this contractor somehow backs out, she will call me to notify me of the delay.

The remains of the Retaining Wall have been removed and the hillside was graded so that a wall is no longer necessary. Violation abated.
