Mayor's Office Admin.no assigned this issue to Board of Health Admin.kg

I have reported this situation to the city Code Enforcement Officer.

This tree belt get worse and worse. And it is a recurring problem. The owner of the property is intentionally neglecting not only the tree belt but his junk car lot behind the garage on Suffolk. Past Boards of Health were in contact with the owner but the FIX is always very temporary if it occurs at all.
Can we please get an update on this situation

I drove by and this still looks bad. Any thoughts from The City?

I am considering moving to this area and am watching this to see if the city is responsive on basic sanitation issues.

Google maps shows this property in the same condition in September 2011. Ongoing. Chronic.

Our office just spoke with the Director of the Board of Health. They will be addressing this issue with the property owner today. Thank you for posting.

I just drove by today and it looks the same. Overgrown and filled with trash. Could someone actually attend to this please?

This looks overgrown enough to hide:
5 bags of recycling
several dead bodies
up to a dozen angry Honey Badgers
at least 48 White Castle Hamburgers (disgusting).

Rachael--someone did trim this tree belt. It *is* difficult to tell, since the person who did this left scrub trees and did what I would call a mediocre weed whacking job. The chain link fence is also overgrown with trees and weeds, but I hesitate to make that an issue because the greenery is now becoming a screen for the parked junk cars (illegal tow yard). This property owner has been forced to get rid of the tow yard in the past, I don't know why he continues to believe that this kind of storage is appropriate in this neighborhood. Perhaps because there are no ramifications to him doing this? No enforcement of violations?

Please also address the junk cars and tow lot on this property that is a code violation. Why is this person allowed to get away with so many violations for years? This is an income generating business. Clearly if they can fix cars, they can push a mower-- or pay someone to do it. It isn't right that codes are applied differently depending on who owns the property.

what does it look like now? covered with snow? still a mess?
Let's get the community workers out there to clean it up.... who's ward is this....call Gladys or Jossie and they will get it done! Isn't this behind the neighborly YMCA? or CMS landscape ?
