The mounts for the bollards have been removed on the southwest corner.

Delineators are on back order, but we will send to the Department of Public works (DPW) to replace, as soon as the next order is in.

i dont mean to be ungrateful, but why bother. they'll be gone again in a few weeks/months. the bumpouts need to be made permanent. would rather the funds / priorities reflect actual need rather than what's easy.

That is not ungrateful, that is honest feedback. This is exactly what we need.

The team is right there with you! There was a meeting with the Director of Infrastructure and all of the division directors. This was a big subject. Why put something in that looks pretty for a hot second and then looks worse than the original street without the add-ons. They do help to deter drivers for awhile.

While we want to hard scape as many intersections we can per year, there is still a need for something to be done for the intersections that are years out. The Traffic Engineering director has ordered much more durable and lasting delineators for the next round. There will also need to be proper instruction as to how to install them, so there is no lift at the base.

The funds for hardscaping come from a different account, so the funds for the delineators is not taking away from the long term solutions.

We need to be a bad news organization, it is the only way the City gets better and the communities get what is needed.
