There has been construction work (rumor is a handicap ramp is being constructed) done for the past week at the southwest corner of Lasalle and Madison in the Loop. There has been constant jackhammer noise almost all day every day this week. How long is this project going to take - more specifically, how long is the demolition portion with the jackhammering going to take?
