Description
We live adjacent to the Radio Tower property in Murden Cove. KKOL Radio is currently expanding the footprint of its building and operating equipment beyond its permit and promises in 2019 to COBI, as shown in the attached photo. I doubt KKOL has a permit for these changes and would recommend a stop work order immediately.
Specifically:
KKOL is installing three permanent electric transformers on permanent concrete pads that are outside the footprint specified in its 2019 plans approved by COBI (attached).
KKOL is installing ground supported new electrical meter trays and disconnect switches that extend beyond the footprint of the building as specified in 2019.
KKOL has a history of bad faith in dealing with permitting with COBI. This resulted in a Stop Work order in 2019
Does KKOL have a permit for this construction and associated permanent expansion of its footprint on the land?
Some of these changes are easily observable from Madison Avenue, and COBI should not delay entry.
Did COBI approve an electrical permit for these permanent electrical changes that change the footprint of the building?
KKOL continues to repeatedly and deliberately subvert and COBI’s land use regulations. The RFI interference caused by KKOL is directly harming the surrounding residents.
Thank you for looking into this – we continue to have electrical issues due to their broadcasting at 50,000. You can reach us at 206-915-1377.
