At approximately 9:30pm on 12/16/21 heavy work was being done on N 188th st, west of Fremont. Approached a worker who said there was a leak in the main. Want to verify based on the nature of the time of night, they were not city trucks, looking to confirm legitimate.

This type of emergency work is covered under a blanket permit. This work would have been preformed by Seattle Public Utilities and they would have applied for a permit after the fact. This permit will most likely not be processed until next week.
