Description

Madison Place is being built directly south of Courtyards on Madison HOA. Our understanding was that when the city granted the developer a subdivision permit, the developer was not allowed to cut down the vegetation buffer on our property line. Today we saw the developer's crew remove two trees, asserting they were on their property. We are worried the developer's crew is going to remove additional trees on our property.

We are looking for the city to provide some clarification and/or a cease-and-desist order to the construction crew and developer. Is the removal of trees here allowed? This tree-removal activity would seem contrary to the permit and the statements the developer made to the city during the permitting process.
