Description

This quality and usefulness of this road 110th st and 103rd Ave N has many issues. Starting at the beginning of the road, you have the turn around for the 3 garbage truck services that use the makeshift drive entrance into grass into the church parking lot. When they use this 9-12 times a week it cause major errosion of the asphalt they put down to prevent the dirt from going into the road and storm drains. The garbage trucks, fire trucks or delivery trucks cannot simply turn around at the cul-de-sac because there is a palm tree in the middle of it. The over abundance of dirt on the east side of the road is causing major grass and weed growth in the gutter areas all the way down the street making a very degraded look to the community. The curbs and street have seen better days probably over 30 years ago or more. The many kids that live on this street can't even rollerblade, skate, scooter, or skateboard because the road is so erroded and rough the wheels get stuck in every crack and exposed aggregate on the surface. We received notices a year or two ago about paving the street, they setup all their equipment, destroyed a huge amount of grass in the church grass field and left over a few yards of ashphalt that's still visible today, where grass can't grow. Like I've stated, there is many issues with this road, as you can see in the pictures it's degrading property values on the street just by the looks let alone usefulness of the road for our youth. Your response and corrective action will be very gratefully accepted!
