How would “everyone” decide on rules?

The noise and loud music has been completely out of control recently and I for one am happy to see action on this and unleashed dogs in the park.

I never said I had a problem with dogs being leashed I’m not unreasonable like you what I mean is it only 6 ft are longer leashes not allowed it’s not specific a longer leash is also six feet second there are around 150000 residents in Bridgeport plus visitors just because 50 people don’t like loud music does not mean the entire beach should not have music there should be a section where it’s allowed and a section where it’s not if you don’t like music playing go to a library go meditate go to sleep go somewhere else there’s only one life to live and we shouldn’t pay because a few want to be boring another idea is that there could be a curfew to when music can be played its our beach! Not just yours you’re not the only one that pays taxes and beach entry if this is not resolved I propose a strike on paying taxes! It’s unreasonable to make rules out the blue next it’s going to be unlawful to pass gas in public this is RIDICULOUS!

Actually, I get it. It can be nice listening to music while relaxing on the beach. Unfortunately some people cannot keep the volume down and so have ruined it for the masses. I do not live ON the beach but am in the neighborhood that hears music playing so loudly that it reverberates in my living room so that you cannot hear conversation or the TV or even hear oneself think.

The rule was brought about by those who have no consideration for anyone other than themselves and so have no one to blame but themselves.

You want to listen to music at the beach? Get some headphones.

That’s my point it’s all to make us relly on cell phones which also turn the volume down after some time they are taking our freedom and money essentially our lives and happiness!!!!! Is no one else willing to stand up and fight for our rights and our future generations rights?!

We are losing our democracy and giving in to a totalitarian government that takes total control over the lives of its citizens!!! Do you not realize it??? Wake up!!!

I'm more than happy to fight for my right to a peaceful, quiet life. That's what rules are for. Protecting the greater population against those who would negatively impact it. Looks like the City has my back (in this one area any way)

I met a nice gentleman from the Bronx that recently moved to bpt, we start talking and the issue of police come up and he says oh bpt pd seems Soo relaxed compared to NYC. He said I ran a couple stop signs with a cop around and was never pulled over. He was shocked. So I'm telling that story to say if people are driving around doing with paper plates, fake plates, no insurance, etc and speed, blow thru stop signs and see cops around that don't do anything of course it's going to continue. And their mindset will become it's easy out here. Cops don't really do much enforcing. And the cycle continues.
