Yes. Several years. At least four. They were towed away a few years ago and then they were towed back

I'm curious. Why Code Enforcement? Is that private property? If so, wouldn't the request go to the Vehicle Abatement Detail at (510) 777-8538.

If they are on public property, such as parked in front of a residence, then it should go to the Abandoned Auto detail.

I initially reported this issue to Code Enforcement, and they notified me that they were forwarding my email to Vehicle Abatement. I have received no acknowledgement that this report was received by Vehicle Abatement and there has been no action on this issue as far as I can tell.

My initial email containing all the relevant information including photos was forwarded to Vehicle Abatement July 7. I have had no response from this agency. What do I have to do to get action on this complaint?

121 days and counting since I reported this issue. Nothing has been done. These cars have been in the same place for 5 to 7 years now. I have to look at them every day when I leave my building or I look out my window. I own the apartment building I live in and I work very hard to maintain it in good condition. I have planted and maintain beautiful roses and other plants to make my building attractive. My neighbor with the cars can look at my attractive building and garden every day, but he won't even remove inoperable vehicles from the front of his building. And the city won't do anything. This is just not right!

Two of the 3 inoperable vehicles on this property have been removed, but one is still there. A white Ford pick up, license #6KO6798. It has been there 5-7 years. It is covered with dead leaves and the bed of the pick up is full of junk. It could not possibly have current registration since it has not moved for several years.

The white Ford pickup is still there, gathering dust, dirt and dead leaves. The neighbors are getting tired of looking at it.

The brown sedan was removed for a couple of weeks, but it is back in place in front of the non-operational pick up truck.

Both cars are still there.

Those cars are gone.
