First off thanks for reaching out to us. I checked the programming and the logs at this location. There are 28 seconds available for this LT movement (for R,Y,G time) when operating normally in the PM Peak (when you reported the issue). However there were a couple emergency vehicle preemptions shown in the logs. During preemption the emergency vehicle gets priority. then after the preemption the signal tries to get back into coordination as quickly as possible this results most of the time in shorting the left turn movements to try to get the system clock to match back up with the local clock. It usually should last for 1-3 cycles depending on the situation and if the signal is preempted more than one time etc. It appears to be working normally at the moment. I hope this helps, Mike S.

I want to make sure that we are discussing the same intersection. Cooper and Warner. Southbound Cooper turning east onto Warner. I appreciate the explanation regarding the emergency vehicles for the future but there were no emergency vehicles on the day that I reported this. And there were also no emergency vehicles today when again I had to sit through 2 cycles as again 4 cars got through (and the 4th car was after it turned yellow). It is not 28 seconds (as I paid attention to that today after reading your response) because that should be plenty of time for more cars than that to get through. And this wasn't a case of someone not paying attention and wasting the light.

Yes I was looking at Gilbert and Warner per the original request:

"The light for the left turn lanes on Gilbert Rd turning onto Warner only allow about 3 cars to get through. this intersection should be longer than that."

**FYI in the coming weeks/month or so things will get better overall, we are already collecting vehicle counts and planning to update all of the signal timing along the Cooper corridor so a bigger better improvement is coming but I will see if I can help a little in the mean time.

Thank you. I'm not sure how that happened because I literally opened the app while I was sitting at the red light so it could get my GPS. Then I finished the post when I got home. The address did seem odd to me but I just figured it was because it was an intersection and it had to choose something close. I apologize for wasting you time on the first one but thank you for your help. And that is great news about the upcoming improvements.
