If a fire truck had to turn down Woodman from Bay street, they would not make it. People could care less and it seems that the city officials and police think its ok. There are laws being broken, a hazard to the motoring public all because of inconsiderate people. C'mon City...it needs a " No Parking Here To Corner "on the south side of Woodman before Bay street , from the driveway to corner!

The Parking Control Officers have gone down to the area. They are going once in the morning and than in the afternoon. Thank You

Cars leave by 7 am and park at night after 6pm. Checking anytime other than before the time posted above is a waste of traffic enforcement.

Just put up a " No Parking Here To Corner " on the south side of Woodman..before Bay street heading east and be done with it! NO PARKING is the remedy....

There is now a "No Parking Here To Corner" sign on Woodman and Bay street however it was placed on the wrong side! The post asked for a sign be placed on the SOUTH side of Woodman, before Bay street , stopping vehicles from parking from the driveway to Bay street. A car driving up Woodman,,can't stay near the curb and has to go into the middle of Woodman to Bay. Someone turning down Woodman can't make the turn and has to stop on Bay street..nearly causing a rear end accident every time! I think the sign needs to be put on the SOUTH side of Woodman BEFORE Bay street from the driveway to Bay stopping parking the 30 feet or so ! PLease change this..

Yep..saw this also. You have to drive by here to understand the road hazard there. A SUV is parked the in the morning and evening on the south side of Woodman St before Bay street. The first 50 feet of that area should be NO PARKING ! Another No fix by the City of Fall River

Still the same there! I drove by just to see and its like a circus camp where everybody parks where ever they want. FRPD needs to ticker these vehicles.

The Traffic Department will be going to that area on a daily basis during the day. Thank you

OI, this is like a comedy skit where they wrong item is picked even though the actor is telling the other person under which cup the ball is. ! I know Fall River needs jobs but in the first post, and others " No Parking Here To Corner " on the south side of Woodman..before Bay street heading east . YES a new sign went up and it was placed on the south side of Woodman street BUT going east AFTER bay street NOT before! There is a 15" tree stump before bay street on the right side of Woodman of which a SUV parks every day ! THAT IS WHERE THE SIGN IS NEEDED! I am glad that things are being done and I am not ungrateful the city is trying but please get it put in the right place.

Here is a photo showing what should be done. The SUV is there most weekends and from 6 pm to 6am most weekdays !

Gray SUV still parks on the right side (south) of Woodman just before Bay street preventing cars coming up Woodman before Bay street to get over to the right. I was almost hit by a Vics Towing truck the other night because he tried to turn down Woodman and I could not pull over because of that parked SUV. This is ongowing for too long already...fix it PLEASE!!!!! Put the sign up as noted in the picture added last week.

Almost forgot...

The STOP sign is buried behind the tree and not visible !!! You would think the treet could be trimmed BEFORE a car doesn't stop coming up Woodman street and crashes !!!!

Still the same as over a year ago. Only difference is that they put the signs on the wrong corners. They are helping but not where need most. I think the picture shows what needs to be done to correct this problem I almost was hit head on there the other night as a large truck was turning down the street from bay street.

Too funny.... over a year, this posted 3 months ago with 139 views and even a picture but no stopping the SUV from parking there! I was almost in a head on with another vehicle the other night when it was raining and tough to see ! The other driver came speeding around the corner and I was in the middle of the road trying to get by the SUV. I had to back up to allow the other car to pass so I could cross Bay street. Is it going to take a bad accident and a law suit to get the person to stop parking there!!! And the STOP sign is still behind branches from the tree..but with no leaves its visible I guess its the City letting nature handle things :(.

Still the same at this intersection. The corner that really needed the no parking sign doesn't have a sign as of 12/07/11 ! The car still parks there overnight and on weekends and holidays too. Not important until this link is printed out and the City of Fall River is sued because of ample warning to a dangerous situation! The City better hope its not me who is rear ended or hit head on there because years have gone by and the problem remains the same.

Same here also ! The woman still parks her SUV there....guess the city just don't care. I have also copied the topic and posts here along with the picture and it will be submitted to my attorney. If me or anyone I know gets hit there because of this not being fixed, the City will surely loose in court because they were under notice of a dangerous situation.

Another problem being ignored by FRPD and the Mayor! Instead of resolving issues they raise my taxes again...
