Description
People across the street continue to park several cars in the street which A) makes it very difficult if not impossible to get in and out of my driveway and B) makes it so an emergency vehicle would not be able to pass. Have spoke to the residents on several occasions and was told to "deal with it". I am sending this in hopes that the south side of the street can be made a no parking area to alleviate this problem

Thank you for your SeeClickFix post dated August 30, 2014. The Mayor has asked me to respond directly to you regarding the parking in your neighborhood. Community Service Officer Merritt responded to 879 42nd Avenue North on several occasions at different times throughout his shifts. Officer Merritt did not observe any parking violations or vehicles parked in a manner which would obstruct emergency vehicles. Community Service Officer Merritt will continue to monitor the area during his patrol duty. In the meantime, I would encourage you to call the non-emergency line at 893-7780 to report this activity while it is occurring so that an Officer can be dispatched to immediately resolve the issue. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact Community Service Sergeant Borrelli at 892-5208. Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention.
Sincerely,
Luke C. Williams
