Sure a few potholes were filled in BUT work still needs to be done on Brookline Blvd. One would have thought with a break in the weather all of last week a city crew could simply drive the length of the blvd. and fill in ALL the potholes?!

Yes...I agree! We have a business at that very intersection noted...946 Brookline Blvd! We have LOADS of potholes right in FRONT of our store! The city did come out to "patch" those holes previously, (before the big snow hit), but those patches just lifted as soon as the next snow hit! It's pothole city all along the blvd.

Thank you!!! Now hopefully, the "patches" will still be in place today, since they were done yesterday!

Oh well....knew it couldn't last....now the "patches" are all gone and what's left are STILL the same potholes....along with all the gravel and pebbles....grrrreat!

Okay so "about 1 month ago" reports of the Potholes on Brookline Blvd started pouring in. So why then are there are still Potholes all along Brookline Blvd? We have even heard them making fun of the city's lack of response on WDVE radio! Not sure what the issue is with getting these fixed here but we are all hoping something will be done to fix ALL the potholes that are plauging the entire city! The city should be driving up and down every street and patch these potholes up! Lets get it done here!!!!

At htis point it appears the entire Blvd needs to be resurfaced! The so called fixes are a joke and there are still potholes lining the entire blvd!

Tbqh, the city's technique for fixing potholes is FAST but it doesn't last for beans! Resurfacing takes too long, redirects too much traffic and doesn't fix the long-term problem... more potholes always appear. We need road-building tech like the Roman empire had - their roads held up to so much, and yet we insist on these cheap asphalt slab roads that break up in a few years!

I wish I could report that all issues have been fixed on Brookline Blvd but the SAD TRUTH is that there are still an unacceptable amount of potholes all the way up and down the blvd. Is there a resurfacing project slated for the blvd that we don't know about?
I think myself and the other 21 people who have reported/requested this issue be fixed deserve an explanation as to the incompetence of the DPW with regards to the potholes not just on the Blvd but throughout the entire city!

effort seems to have FINALLY been made to actually fix most potholes lining Brookline Blvd. Are there still a few that we missed you know it but I am just happy that most of the big ones were taken care of. Now how about you go down Queensboro Blvd at Berkshire and fix the 2 massive potholes there?!!!!
