This light is easily missed... we need more signs there not better drivers! I personally have ran the light a total 2 times but never was it on purpose

The problem is that the existing lights were put in as traffic lights. The city needs to move the lights to function as a pedestrian crossing that would see the lights over only one side of the intersection. Perhaps the city is looking at changing this in the summer when they have the street dug up to change the pipes underground. We can hope! I do have to say that I was really glad when they closed that intersection off because it is sure better for traffic flow on second ave.
