الوصف

7-31-22: There is street pavement work (resurfacing) being done on Junipero Serra Blvd., southbound all the way to at least Westborough Blvd. The posted small orange warning signs about the uneven pavement surface are very inadequate, especially at night when they are difficult to read (there are no illuminated signs). The roadway surface is very uneven and makes it difficult to navigate the more dangerous spots, especially when the area is already lacking adequate street lighting. Aren't there supposed to be illuminated signs at night (such as generator powered Changeable Message Sign Board) at both ends of where the strip of pavement work is being done? Isn't the area supposed to be watered down to mitigate dust flying all over the neighborhood? For a street with a posted 45mph zone, this area is very unsafe if uninformed motorists aren't expecting the severity of the uneven surface. Has the City Manager driven thru this area yet to ensure everything is being handled correctly? What is the restitution process if a motorist sustains damage to their vehicle from this street resurface project?
