Per Howard County Code, maintenance of the sidewalk is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner. Notification will be made.

Sec. 18.402. - Maintenance of sidewalks, driveways and sod.
(A) It shall be the duty and obligation of the owner of property abutting a public right-of-way to maintain the abutting sidewalk, driveway apron and sod or grass within the public right-of-way in such condition as to be safe for public use.

KBrown said the same thing about a sidewalk concern on Old Columbia Pike, same citation and same assurance that the adjacent owners would be notified. But nothing has been done and it is still impossible to walk on sidewalk so pedestrians need to walk on busy Old Columbia Pike around blind curves. I expect more from HoCo government.

could you update me with the SCF # for Old Columbia Pike, I don't recall commenting on a request over there.

But I will look into the complaint.

There is still an issue on Emory with the ivy growing over the sidewalk. Emory in general is a disaster!

There has been broken glass to the right side of this White House entrance for months. The renter will not clean it up. Who owns this property? The side walks and roadway here are filthy.

Sidewalk was cleaned up on 3/15/2023.
