Recently someone painted the curb red to discourage parking. I guess the owner didn't like the 1-800 junk trucks parking there.
You can see in the satellite photo that the curbs were not painted, and they are now. The owner doesn't even let employees park in the parking lot, and makes them all park on the street. Very entitled behavior.
